The Breakfast Club: MaryBill’s Cafe

I’m not much of a breakfast eater. Unless you invite me to MaryBill’s, that is.

MaryBill’s Cafe sits directly across the street from Eutaw Shopping Village, on Bragg Boulevard. Upon entering, you’re greeted warmly, often from across the room by one of the waitresses, who immediately make you feel like old friends, if not family.

If Luke’s Diner (of Gilmore Girls fame) were located in Fayetteville instead of Stars Hollow— it would be called MaryBill’s Cafe.

And while the kind service would be enough to sell me, the truth is in every bite. The very first time I visited, I was intrigued by the Crab Cake Benedict and I have to wrestle with myself to try something new each time I’m there— because the Crab Cake Benedict calls out to me (and I usually listen).

However, I have eaten there with several groups of friends and while I haven’t strayed from my favorite all that much, everyone has always said their food was delicious.

MaryBill’s menu ranges from a wide range of breakfast entrees like omelettes, pancakes, (grits!) and eggs cooked any way you like, to sandwiches, salads and more.

Capicola Ham on Sourdough. This tasty sandwich has grilled onions, bell peppers, mustard, mayo, lettuce and provolone cheese.

With terrific, down-home service, great food, warm and inviting atmosphere, and good prices— MaryBill’s Cafe is at the top of the list of places of restaurants to visit in Fayetteville. It is now a favorite for the #LadiesWhoLunch, a group of girlfriends and I who are intentional about trying new food places around Greater Fayetteville.

We recently asked on Facebook what the community’s favorite breakfast spot was and MaryBill’s was mentioned often and enthusiastically.

So, if you’re looking for a great breakfast spot…MaryBill’s Cafe is #BiteThis Foodie Approved!
