Brake for Bulgogee

By Jesse Leger
If you are like me, you enjoy great food. This is a broad statement,  but it has a narrow application in a lot of cases.

When was the last time you ate some food that really made you stop and savor every single bite? For me, that was today, at Su’s Subs and Oriental Food.

Located in the shopping center at the intersection of Andrews road and Ramsey street, this modest diner is home to some of the tastiest subs I have ever had. They have all the typical sandwich variations that we have become accustomed to in other local establishments, but the one that stood out to me was their Bulgogee Sub.

For those that don’t know, Bulgogee is made of thinly cut beef or pork, cooked stir fry style. It has a slightly salty, mildly sweet, nutty/savory flavor.

In this case, they make theirs from hand selected cuts of ribeye.

Never before would I have thought to have it on a sandwich… I had no idea what I was missing out on.

Su’s is a family owned American/Korean fusion diner, that has been in serving our community since 2006.

If you are in the neighborhood for lunch or dinner, do yourself a favor and give them a visit.
