“Keep your flowers and chocolate, just feed me.”
If that sounds like your significant other’s Valentine’s Day wishlist, well— we’ve got you covered.
One of the many things Fayetteville has going for it is a vibrant food scene. And, with many options to explore around town, it is still easy to get caught going to the same “usual” suspects for dinner.
When chatting with our #FayFoodies (or aspiring foodies), when we mention these places featured below, we are awestruck when we hear they didn’t know about them, or haven’t visited them yet. So. what better time than Valentine’s Day?! Restaurants in this area really roll out the red carpet to celebrate!
So, if you’re looking to take your sweetheart or your best friend (hello Galentine’s Day!) that is just a bit different from the norm, here are some of our recommendations on where to take a Bite around town!
Blue Moon Cafe
Blue Moon Cafe is hosting its “Once In A Blue Moon Valentine’s Dinner” with a sumptuous 4-course menu planned. Couples can choose from Riviera Caprese, Shrimp Dip, or Canape Tray appetizers; Cranberry Citrus or Panzanella salads; Stuffed Steak, Winter Marsala, or Glazed Salmon entrees; and Chocolate Souffle or Berry Flatbread desserts. Reservations are accepted and you can even make them through messaging their Facebook page.
What We ❤️: Blue Moon is under new ownership! You can count on world class, very attentive service by the new owners, Josh + Nathan.

Valentine’s Day Cooking Class with Household 6 Catering:
Household 6 Catering (maker of my favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies + Granola!) is offering a fun spin on Valentine’s Day with a Couple’s Cooking Class! Learn to cook a pasta-dinner from scratch. The food and drinks are provided. You must purchase tickets in advance.
What We ❤️: This is not your typical date night and couples who cook together, have fun together! Also, there is childcare available ($10 per child) and that in itself is a MAJOR win.
Scrub Oaks, in North Fayetteville off Ramsey Street, is hosting a special Four-Course Surf & Turf dinner! Reservations are recommended.
What We ❤️: We’ve never gone to Scrub Oaks and received anything less than amazing food and the best service. We also love that it’s a great restaurant in an unsuspecting location, off Ramsey street in North Fayetteville. Not your typical downtown or Skibo/McPherson Church location.
Address: 5780 Ramsey Street, #108, Fayetteville, NC 28311
Dates: February 14, 2019 – February 15, 2019

Valentine’s Weekend “Love & Laughter”:
Chef Judy’s “Let Me Cater To You” on Pope Airfield is hosting an event described as an “…elegant evening of love, celebrated with live entertainment, great food and drinks, packed with giveaways.” After dinner, look forward to live music by Lil Judah and entertainment by Thou Art, LLC
What We ❤️: Valentine’s falling on a weekday can make it hard, or at the very least inconvenient, for many couples to get out. This weekend event allows you to still celebrate your loved ones in a special way. Also, Chef Judy’s food is worth traveling on post for! SO. GOOD!
